It's something to learn.

Too many people carry shame for things they were never taught. Especially when it comes to mistaking knowing about something for knowing how to do it.

That's why honest sexuality education goes beyond information, expanding not only what we know, but what we're capable of. Because when people have the tools to navigate sexuality, they gain more than confidence. They gain the ability to create lives, and relationships, defined by choice, connection, and joy.

Your sexuality isn't something to fix.

Most of us learned what not to do.

Few of us learned what to do.

We learned consequences. Rarely connection.
We learned prevention. Rarely pleasure.
We learned that sexuality was about bodies. Rarely about the people living in them.

WHAT WE WEREN'T TAUGHT

That's not a personal failing. It's just what happens when "the talk" is one conversation instead of a lifelong one — and it's a gap that can absolutely be closed.

Hi, I'm Serena.

People believed they were failing, or worse, fundamentally broken, because of something no one had ever taught them.

Sex Ed with Serena exists to close that gap: honest, comprehensive sexuality education that goes beyond information, building the knowledge, skills, and confidence people need to navigate sexuality, relationships, and life.

Turns out, everyone has questions.

Almost nobody had a safe place to ask them.

The problem wasn't ever who they were.

It was the education they never received.

YOUR EDUCATOR

I'm a sexuality educator, human sexuality professor, curriculum and programming consultant, and consent activist. For years, I've taught sexuality in classrooms, workshops, coaching settings, and communities. And across every one of them, I've watched the same thing happen.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

Sexuality isn't simple. It isn't supposed to be. It's:

science and emotion

bodies and brains

pleasure and responsibility

confidence and consent

identity and behavior

safety and exploration

These aren't contradictions to resolve.

They're part of being human.

Good sexuality education doesn't simplify sexuality.

It helps us become more comfortable with its complexity, equipping us with knowledge, practical skills, curiosity, and compassion to engage with it fully.

Because healthy sexuality isn't built in a single lesson.

It's built through a lifelong practice of learning, growing, and navigating change.

What you'll Learn

Healthy sexuality isn't built on supposition. It's built on learnable skills. Together, we'll explore how to:

Not because you're behind. Because no one taught us.

Confidence grows through practice. Agency grows through knowledge and skill.
